About Jessica Beesly
Graphic designer · Illustrator · Photographer · Portsmouth
I'm a graphic designer, illustrator and photographer in Portsmouth. I make brands look like themselves, only better.
Hello
I'm Jess, a graphic designer, illustrator and photographer based in Portsmouth. The part I like best is the middle bit, where a rough scribble starts behaving like a real brand.
I work across branding, social media, layout and print, and the photography side keeps my eye trained on light and composition.
One week it's a logo suite, the next it's a magazine spread or a batch of newborn photos to retouch. I like the variety, and I like finishing things properly.
What I do
Branding & Visual Identity: logos, colour palettes, type systems and guidelines that still hold together six months later.
Social Media & Digital Content: templates, campaigns and post-ready assets that look sharp at thumbnail size.
Layout & Print: editorial spreads, brochures, menus and posters, typeset with the printer in mind.
Photography & Image Editing: shooting, retouching and colour work for products, newborns and families.
Let's create something good
If you've got a brand to build, a print piece to lay out or photographs that need editing, I'd love to hear about it. Email is easiest.
